SMS tracking number

  • Referral partners introduce someone by sending a text message to both the referral and the salesperson (i.e., referral recipient). When they tap “Make an intro” in the referral app, their text app opens with a special tracking number already included. This number lets Blabber track the referral, update its status, and calculate any rewards. If the tracking number is removed, Blabber can’t track the referral.

MMS credits

  • Tracking referrals via group texts requires MMS credits. When your MMS balance reaches $0, your referral partners will not be able to make warm introductions via the mobile app, and your referral program will be paused.

  • MMS texts are charged per SMS "segment," not per message. An SMS message can consist of one or more segments.

    • If you're only using characters in the English alphabet, each segment is 160 characters.
    • If you're using emojis, foreign characters, or attaching media and links, a segment can contain as few as 33 characters.

  • Messages exceeding the limit are split into multiple segments. Each outbound segment costs $0.04 and each inbound segment $0.03, deducted from your prepaid MMS balance.
  • MMS account balance is shared at the account level. When you add money to your MMS account balance, it will be used across all offers and users within your account.
