What is a Private-Party Vehicle Acquisition?
A private-party vehicle acquisition is when a dealership purchases a vehicle directly from a consumer—rather than through a trade-in, auction, or wholesaler. It’s also known as a vehicle acquisition from the public or a street vehicle acquisition.
How to track these transactions & ROI
Once the dealership buys a vehicle from a referral, track it in Blabber by adding a transaction. This will automatically update the referral’s deal status to “Won.”
Blabber will then calculate the referral reward based on your offer settings and notify the referrer that they’ve earned a reward.
- Revenue: Enter the estimated resale value (wholesale or retail).
- Cost: Enter the amount paid to the seller for the vehicle.
- Gross profit: Blabber will auto-calculate your estimated front-end gross profit.
